November 2, Sunday - "Singles, Singles" Christian Formation Class: Join other singles as we discuss the Sunday scripture readings, focusing on how the lessons affect our daily lives. The class meets from 10:15-11:00 a.m. in the Christian Family Center, Room 205. Questions? Contact Marsha Holmes

November 5, Wednesday - Singles With Children: Raising children is a blessing and a challenge. You race through the day only to collapse and get ready to do it all over again. Ever wished you had a place to share the joys and challenges with others having similar experiences? Bring your family to dinner in the Parish Center from 5:00-7:00 p.m. ($5 per person, maximum of $15 per family). Following dinner there is programming for children of all ages. While the kids are having fun, join us in the Christian Family Center, Room 208 from 7:00-8:00 p.m. as we explore how we might grow together and support one another. Questions? November 8, Saturday - Nacho Average Appetizer! Join us for a casual, relaxing pre-holiday evening with friends. Bring an appetizer and your favorite beverage. November 16, Sunday - Luncheon Series: Hot Travel Trends 2009: Enjoy Lyn Tyson McCall of Valerie Wilson Travel, Ponte Vedra, talk about the newest in travel. Lots of fun, prizes and maybe a special guest! Join us in the new Parish Center dining room following the 11:15 a.m. Eucharist. Reservations are required for lunch. Cost is $5. November 28th, Friday - Deadline for Reservations: Join Solo Flight on Friday, December 5th, for a wonderful evening of fun at Players-by-the-Sea's production of "Christmas Belles!" For reservations, call 249-0289 no later than November 28th, and say you are with Christ Church/Solo Flight. Tickets are $20.00 each ($17.00 for seniors over 60, military and students).
